75th NMC Anniversary Client Work

Northwestern Michigan College celebrated its 75th anniversary through a series of events and activities designed to honor the institution’s history while highlighting its role in the community today. A workgroup of faculty, staff, and community members was tasked with developing materials that celebrate NMC’s past and connect it to its future.
This project proposed the design of posters and complementary materials that visually communicate NMC’s history and support anniversary-related programming, including the History Showcase event on July 25 and the History Walk. The work will be displayed throughout campus and used by both the college community and the general public.
The work completed was for the Northwestern Michigan College 75th Anniversary History Event. The poster was painted in watercolor and is 24 x 36 in. Throughout the entire process, my work was reviewed and critiqued by my teacher and client.
The yard sign is for each building station of the history walk. It includes facts about the building and old photographs, and a new photograph of each building. Each yard sign is 18 x 24 in.
